Entry Fee: €10.00 Per Person &
€4.00 Per Round.
Payable in Pro Shop before competing in the competition
Singles Qualification
•
Starts Tuesday 3rd January 2012 runs until final qualifying
day on 26th February 2012 over 8 weeks.
• The competition will be a Singles and Team event.
• The singles will run each week.
• There will be 7 Counting Cards in the singles competition.
o The Best 6 scores from the qualifying rounds with the Final
day card counting as the 7th Card will determine the Singles
Winner.
Team Final on Sunday 4th March
The
top 75 players at the end of qualifying will form 15 teams
for a Team final on Sunday 4th March
Competitions
A
14 Hole Singles Stableford competition will be held each Saturday
and Sunday with a mid-week 14 hole singles Stableford re-entry
competition running from Monday to Friday. The best counting
card will be allowed for each mid-week competition. Scores from
both Saturday and Sunday competitions will qualify as counting
scores.
COMPETITIONS USING TEMPORARY GREENS WILL
NOT COUNT AS QUALIFYING SCORES
Scores:
Best 6 scores to count
over the qualifying period 3rd January to 26th February 2012.
Prizes:
Weekly prizes of 1st Overall
and 3 category prizes each week-end during qualifying.
There will be a prize for the mid-week competition based on the
number of entries.
Handicaps:
Full handicaps (subject
to cuts as below) @ 01/01/2012 apply during qualifying.
Handicap Cuts:
Cuts will apply to each
competition and will remain until the end of qualifying.

Cat 2 (12-17) Overall
Winner 2 Shots & Cat Winner 1 Shot
Cat 3 (18 +) Overall

Players Responsibilities
• It is each player’s
responsibility to enter scores on the computer in the Men’s
locker room.
• Each player must play off their correct handicap
each week-end and failure to do so will result in disqualification
from that round.
2. Final Day (Provisional)
• Previous scores are NOT carried
forward for the Team event
• Prizes for Singles (1st Overall and 3 Categories) and
Team event (1st and 2nd).
• Open draw timesheet will apply
• Top 75 players to qualify to make 15 teams
• Full Handicap @: 01/01/2012 to apply
• Format: 18 holes Singles Stableford
• 4 scores to count from each team. In the event of a tie
the 5th card counts
