As Captain of Co. Meath Golf Club I welcome members and visitors to our website. This year we are celebrating 40 years in our current location.

Like most clubs in the country the last two years have been difficult but thankfully we seem to have turned the corner. Our green fees, society bookings and driving range receipts are all up substantially. Our club has always been renowned for it's friendliness and hospitality.

Open week starts Sat. 25th June and ends 2nd July. You can book online and enjoy a game on our immaculately presented course. Afterwards visit our modern clubhouse and enjoy top quality food and drink at reasonable prices.

We are delighted to host The World One Armed Golf chammpionship from 12th to 17th June. I believe this will be one of the highlights of our 2011 calendar. The agenda for the week will be available in the clubhouse so drop in and decide which day or days you would like to attend. I wish all the contestants an enjoyable and successful week especially Brendan Swan who is a member of our club. Be warned though, if one of the contestants challenges you to a game , don't put too much money on it. You're likely to lose!

To celebrate our 40 years in Newtownmoynagh , we are running a 9 hole invitation open on Fridays from 4 pm. Our Wednesday 14 hole semi open is very popular as are all our open days. As you can see, there is plenty oppurtunity to play our lovely course.
